About Children of Christmas Past
The Children of Christmas Past, a local, grassroots organization, has taken it upon themselves to be a strong voice with a loving, helping had for seniors who are alone.
The organization was started in 1999 by Jill Harrington. She requested that the guests of their annual Christmas Open House bring a gift for a senior, rather than a hostess gift. Now, the registered non-for- profit charity hand delivers over 1800 gifts on Christmas morning.

Our family tradition . . .
"I started Children of Christmas Past in 1999, with the hope of doing something special for seniors who would find themselves alone at Christmas. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful feeling it is to watch communities come together by delivering literally hundreds of to front door while volunteers fill my home throughout December. My son Noah and I have come to welcome this as our family Christmas tradition. It's somewhat surreal to see something born out of simple good intentions, having taken on a life on its own and reaching so many of our senior community. It reminds them that they are remembered, respected, and appreciated by their communities."
It's very simple to sponsor a senior's gift wish.
Remove a tag from the tree. Wrap the gift with the gift tag taped securely to the gift with seniors name and gift request facing up. Please return the wrapped gift to the address below. Here, the gifts will be sorted and await Chirstmas day delivery.
Thank you for supporting our centers and please accept our wishes for a very happy, healthy, and safe holiday season!
With warmest regards,
Founder & Chairperson
